Born from creativity, rooted in family, and stitched with purpose—welcome to D2 Threads.

We started our journey in 2022 as an online women’s boutique, but as our passion for custom design grew, so did our vision. What began as a small venture from our home base in Athens, TX, quickly evolved into D2 Threads, a full-service shop offering embroidery, screen printing, vinyl graphics, and more.

Our 3,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art shop is located on our fourth-generation family farm. Here, we combine hard work, creativity, and small-town values to deliver quality products you can wear, use, and be proud of.

Meet The Team

We’re Ryan and Ashley Smrcina—husband and wife, business partners, and now parents to our tiniest production assistant, born in October 2024.

Married in 2023, our first “babies” were our dogs, Diesel and Daisy Mae, who inspired the name D2 Threads—a tribute to both them and the custom work "threads" we love bringing to life for our customers.
